Community supported agriculture is an innovative way of purchasing produce that benefits consumers and farmers. Essentially, a farmer offers a certain number of “shares” to the public (a box of vegetables, other farm goods, etc.). Consumers purchase a share (in the form of a membership or subscription), and in exchange, receive seasonal produce each week throughout the season.
