The Pithy Take

Cornell Law’s Legal Information Institute is one of the most useful websites I’ve ever used. The LII believes that people should be able to read and understand the laws that govern them, without cost. They publish laws online for free (and make them easy to find), and they have an excellent legal encyclopedia that explains things from constitutional law to commercial law to family law. If you ever want just a quick glimpse of a legal concept, search through LII and it’s likely that you’ll find something helpful.
